"Calm Caldera", Rondelle #699, with Metal Stand, Many Shades of Aqua, Blue, Clear, and Iridescent Clear Glass

"Calm Caldera" is built up in layers, beginning with reclaimed glass shards and layered with bits of glass in many shades of aqua, blue, clear, and clear iridescent glass. Thin aqua colored stringers radiate out to the edges.  The depth of the many layers of glass is fascinating and particularly striking when viewed at close range, and bring thoughts of the sea to mind. You can almost disappear into the strata that seem to be layered in water. The artwork comes complete with the metal display stand, and is signed and numbered by the artist.
