"Falling Waters" #658, in Aqua, Blue, and Clear with Silver Foil Inclusions, with Metal Display Stand

The aqua/blue glass that shimmers over the silver foil is reminiscent of a waterfall as found in nature, so it inspired the title, "Falling Waters".  The base of this piece is made of clear glass with cream colored glass on top, and it is built up further in layers with aqua/blue and a layer of silver foil. There are chemical reactions that have happened during the firing processes to add detail and interest to this piece, including reactions between the copper-bearing blues, the silver bearing elements, and the cream colored sulphur-bearing glass. This is most evident in the dark colored "fuming" at the edge of the silver where it borders the cream colored glass. 

The piece comes with the metal display stand and is hand signed by the artist.
